Five hypothetical case studies of individuals contemplating participation in the
Market Recovery Program are illustrated. The purpose is to provide additional
scenarios and situations in addition to the one presented by Joe in order to
demonstrate the program’s wide range of application.
However, depending upon individual situations, there can be disadvantages as
well as advantages. Both sides of the coin will therefore be presented,
including one scenario in which the Market Recovery Program is not suitable.
Therefore, not everyone can or should participate in the Market Recovery
Program. As stated at the very beginning of this book, it is not appropriate for
each and every person or market loss situation. The only thing worse than not
taking advantage of the Market Recovery Program is to participate in it when it
is not appropriate to do so.
As a result of reading this chapter, it is hoped that the reader will come to
the same conclusion.
